Your Lymphatic System is quite a complicated one, but it’s really vital in your health. You have lymphatic muscles running all through your body and you have a fluid running through these vessels called your lymphatic fluid which runs from the bottom of your body, to the top. This picks up all your toxins in your body. There are certain areas in your body that have a lot of nodes that will clean the lymphatic fluid. These areas are: The inside of the hips, your abdomen, your armpits and your throat.

Yoga is an amazing way to pump this fluid around your system and help you de-toxify.

In this class we will start by breathing into the abdomen to help flush out new blood in to this area. We will then focus on a class that opens the pits to help you detoxify.

In this lesson we will be moving into our heart as we’ll be working on our cardiac plexus and opening our chest. We’ll be increasing the space between our ribs and just building up more capacity in our lungs.

As we work through the postures we’ll be working and moving from the heart. Then observe ourselves. A big part of this class is learning how to let go and learning how to hold on.
